Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. She was the first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals in the same Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles together with her sister Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents from Houston. Simone first became interested in gymnastics while she was just 6. Coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went on a field trip. Biles took home a medal for vault as well as a gold medal on the floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began playing in elite levels of the sport. Within two years, she won the discipline. Biles was distinguished by her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficulty she encountered at the four events she competed in including vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
