Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. She was a teenager when she first entered the world of music and was a winner of local contests from the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album at the age of 14 years. When she was 14, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs together. The first album she released as a collective with this band was released in 1989.
