Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She belongs to the fourth generation of Robertses who live in the Atlanta area beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. He was a part of at the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions in Atlanta. Following his air force service In 1953, he starred in an air force production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter started his education at Tulane. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. During this time they also had two children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
