Her international fame was boosted by her appearance on the Mexican television show Rebelde as Mia Colucci and for her performance as a pop-singer as part of the Latin Grammy Award-winning group RBD. Anahi has sold over 3 million albums throughout her solo career. The career of Anahi began in 1985 when she was only 2 years old, appearing on an Mexican TV show known as Chiquilladas. Anahi was born on May 14th, 1983, in Mexico City to her Mexican mother Marichelo Portilla and a Spanish father Enrique Puente. She is the elder sister of a TV host Marichelo Puente, born in 1978.
